Deep Tissue Sculpting

Deep tissue sculpting is a style of massage that gets into the deeper layers of the muscles and fascia to release tension, spasms, aches and pains. It's done at a slower pace to allow time for the muscle to relax. This method also allows for deeper work then the client may normally receive because they will feel comfortable and relaxed to be able to release the muscle without tensing up from the deep work.

Releases chronic muscle tensions, relieves aching muscles, realigns the body to help with postural imbalances, and promotes deep relaxation.  Deep tissue relaxation techniques via breathing & visualizations to aid those working into a deeper style of massage therapy. (0-100 pain level, 100 meaning we push your limits beyond comfort, but the benefits far outweigh the pains).

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most well known style and it leaves you feeling completely BLISSFUL! It uses effleurage (a form of massage involving a circular stroking movement made with the palm of the hand), petrissage (a massage technique that involves kneading the body) and long fluid strokes to bring about a connected relaxation from limb to limb as well as increasing circulation. This is usually a full body massage because it is meant to connect the harmony of the mind and body.  It is a combination of movements that soothe, stimulate, and rejuvenate the client by following the contours in a more artful manner to create more rhythmic experience for your body, inviting you to feel mentally harmonious and at peace.  Typically, the pressure is usually light or medium depending on preference; or a deeper Swedish style is a popular style as well.

Relaxation, enhanced blood flow, reduced stress, increased flexibility, lower heart rate and blood pressure, improved immune system, pain management, tension reduction.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release relates to the connective tissue of the body. It is the interwoven encasing that wraps every muscle fiber and organ within your body. This release is perfect for healing the body after experiencing an injury, for those areas of stagnation that the client may or may not know about or any of the common misalignments and imbalances we all deal with. When the connective tissue entangles, it causes pain and a lack of blood flow to the muscles. This technique is performed directly on the skin without oils or lotions in order to achieve maximum blood flow to the area and can cause slight tingling/mild burning in the short term, but will absolutely transform the body!

Encourages normal functional muscular length, improves circulation, encourages lymph flow, relieves aches and pains, supports immune system, increased range of motion, creates space in the body, relaxation and improves state of mind.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy, also sometimes called trigger point therapy, is a precise and thorough therapeutic treatment, which is perfect for clients with muscle tension, pain, spasms or any kind of soft tissue injury on specific areas. NMT alleviates ischemia (lack of blood flow to soft tissues), trigger points (highly irritated points in muscles that refer pain to other parts of the body), nerve entrapment/compression (sitting/driving too long) and postural distortions (scoliosis/back problems). This style differs from a regular massage because it not only deals with the muscles, ligaments, and soft tissues of the body, but also with the nervous system. The pain signals to the brain are turned off so the brain can tell the muscle to relax and release. This technique is performed by applying a strong pressure to the exact trigger point in the muscle for 10 to 30 seconds until the sensation subsides and the muscle releases. NMT could be a session on its own, or it can be combined with deep tissue sculpting, sports massage or any of the other massage modalities for target pain point release.

Pain relief, release of nerve entrapment/compression, postural realignment, enhanced blood flow, trigger point relief.

Table Thai

Table Thai massage is a unique modality which combines stretching and compressions in a rhythmic flow of breath to movement. The stretches are assisted yoga postures that promote relaxation, flexibility, mobility, blood flow, and fascial release. This type of massage doesn't use oil or lotion and the client is fully clothed during the session. It is called Table Thai because it is performed on the massage table apposed to the traditional style, which is performed on the floor. Please where clothing that allows for the body to move.

Enhanced energy flow, flexibility, improved range of motion, pain relief, grounding, deep relaxation.

Sports Massage

From beginner athletes to elite competitors, sports massage is beneficial for the athlete of any kind! It's great to loosen muscles before an event, soothe the body afterwards and perfect for maintenance in between. Sports massage is usually a faster paced, deeper style massage that also incorporates stretching to help with performance.

Relieve muscle tension, energizing, increase range of motion and flexibility, enhance athletic performance, improve soft tissue function, improve blood flow, decrease muscle stiffness and fatigue and helps for a faster recovery.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy uses suction and negative pressure to loosen and lift connective tissue, breaks up and drains stagnation while increasing blood and lymph flow, sedate the nervous system and create space in the body. When the muscles are tight and restricted, the blood becomes stagnant in those areas creating pain. Cupping releases the stagnation giving you a feeling of relief and opened space, and allows for fresh nourishing blood to enter the muscles. This modality can be added on to any style massage.

Relieve stiff/aching muscles, increase blood flow, reduce anxiety, aids with rheumatism, creates space in the body, breaks up scar tissue and fascia, lowers blood pressure and encourages lymph flow.
